Dear Mr. Boyle:
Thank you for your email. As set forth in the attached letter, the State of New York has significant concerns that NRC did not provide an opportunity for the State and other governmental entities to communicate with NRC during Thursday afternoon's meeting about the August 23, 2011 earthquake.
The letter also contains questions that the State would have asked during the meeting. We look forward to receiving NRC's responses.
The State requests that NRC provide a call-in line for future meetings so that the State can participate in the meetings.

The agency made the decision to host this meeting (which was requested by the licensee) on a compressed schedule in consideration of the significance to safety. Because of this shortened timeline we were unable to make all of the accommodations typical for high interest public meetings. However, you have the following options.
- 1) The meeting can be viewed in its entirety via the NRC webcast archive, available through the public website
- 2) If you still have questions that were not addressed at the meeting you can utilize the meeting feedback process to ask those questions, which could be as simple as sending them to Bob or myself in an email and asking us to provide a response.
We will also be generating a meeting summary (typically within 30 days), which would normally include the slides from the presentation at the meeting.

From the recently-posted notice, I see that you are the meeting contacts for today's meeting, and I am sending this email as a follow up to my voice mail messages.
(1) I am interested in learning whether or not there will be a phone line or bridge line for the public to listen to and participate in today's public meeting concerning the recent seismic event near N Anna.
Given the late notice, I could not attend in person.
(2) Also, will there be a transcript of the meeting?
