CONFIRMATION OF REVISION TO INITIAL OPERATOR LICENSE EXAMINATION: QUAD CITIES NUCLEAR POWER STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2
Dear Mr. Pacilio:
We have received your Letter KKM-12-001, dated January 30, 2012. In that letter, you requested the initial operator licensing examination scheduled at the Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station for January 2014 be delayed.
At your request, we have delayed the January 2014 initial operator licensing exam and rescheduled the examination for the weeks of April 21 and 28, 2014, at the Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station. An on-site validation is scheduled for the week of March 31, 2014.
We understand that your staff will develop the examination. Because your corporate letter indicated that there were more than nine applicants being considered for this examination, the examination was scheduled for two weeks. Please inform us if the number of candidates change for any examination as this will impact the examination schedule.
A supplementary letter will be sent to the training department approximately 120 days prior to the examination informing the training manager of the chief examiners name. The letter will also outline examination security expectations, list the materials required by the NRC to conduct the examination, reconfirm the examination date, and reconfirm the number of candidates you have in the training program.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.930 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publically Available Records System (PARS) component of NRCs Agencywide
