FW: NRC Daily Note 8-25-201 1.docx FYI On August 25, the staff submitted an International Nuclear and Radiological Event Scale (INES) provisional rating of Level 0 to the IAEA in regards to the August 23 loss of offsite power event and Alert declaration at the North Anna Power Station. Per MD 5.12, this submission is in response to international requests for information on the impact of the earthquake on Eastern U.S. nuclear plants. This rating is being submitted on a provisional basis; a final rating will be submitted once further information is available.

- Trent, We sent this to Glen Ellmers this afternoon when I couldn't get in contact with you. He's getting this note into the system for today's notes, as it was very important to get this note out today.
