RE: Request for North Anna Information Bob, here is the answers to your forwarded questions.

1. At time zero we had the loss of offsite power and all EDGs started. At 50 minutes EDG 2H was secured due to excessive coolant leakage. In approximately 20 minutes the SBO diesel was re-aligned to replace the 2H EDG.
2. The C Reserve Station service Transformer was re-energized at - 3.5 hours5.787037e-5 days
0.00139 hours
8.267196e-6 weeks
1.9025e-6 months
after the event. The A and B RSSTs were restored at - 6 hours6.944444e-5 days
0.00167 hours
9.920635e-6 weeks
2.283e-6 months
.
3. At this time the only item out of service that is known was the Unit 1 TD AFW Pump which was in surveillance testing at the time of the event.
4. The licensee has indicated that the battery depletion time is 4 hours4.62963e-5 days
0.00111 hours
6.613757e-6 weeks
1.522e-6 months
which included load stripping.

Request for North Anna Information Rich Correia, Office of Research, requests information as in the first attachment. Chris Hunter specified more details as in the second attachment.

In discussing it with the Senior Resident, he indicated that you/your group are likely to have already compiled much of the requested information. If so, could you respond to RES's request for information?

I considered requesting this from the licensee staff but refrained due to the burdens they are already responding to including the upcoming hurricane this weekend.

A comment regarding item 2 in C. Hunter's questions is that I understand the 2H DG was repaired but was not immediately returned to Operability, due to other higher priority items at the time. It was considered available and later the post-maintenance test activities were completed. If you can elaborate on that, it could be useful.
