- Kaly, The NRC issued a Safety Evaluation dated January 4, 2012 for the Waterford ASME Code Alternative to IWE-5521. However, in review of the SE there are several statements that do not represent the Waterford steel containment hatch design or Code Alternative Request. I am providing a markup of the SE pages as well as an explanation of the concerns. Entergy believes that these statements should be revised to allow Entergy to appropriately use the Code relief.
