The NRC Staff has submitted an unopposed request to extend the time within which it may file its evidentiary submissions, from February 29, 2012, to March 30, 2012.1 Before we rule on this request, the following information shall be submitted to the Board no later than February 9, 2012:
(1) Pursuant to 10 C.F.R. § 2.1202(b)(2), the NRC Staff shall identify the contentions on which it intends to participate as a party to this proceeding. For each of those contentions, the NRC Staff shall state whether it will support the position of Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. or the position of the relevant contention-sponsoring Intervenor(s).

(2) All participants are directed to inform the Board of any matter that, to their knowledge, has the potential to further delay this proceeding (e.g., items described in the NRC Staffs January 27, 2012 letter presenting its delay in resolving issues associated with Contention NYS-25).
