- a. The submitted Audit JPM Matrix lists an additional Admin JPM (JPM-228) for the 2011 exam that does not appear on the ES-301-1.
RESOLUTION: Discrepancy corrected.
- b. Contrary to the guidance of ES-301, the SRO(U) Control Room/Inplant Systems Outline evaluates one safety function (SF 2) more than once. Either S6 or P1 will have to be replaced.
RESOLUTION: JPM S6 was replaced with on the SRO(U) Control Room/Inplant Systems Outline with one evaluating a different safety function (SF 4P)
- 2. Scenarios
- a. Scenario 1
- i. Are there enough performance actions to credit Event 4 as a malfunction?
RESOLUTION: Replaced Turning Gear Lockout with a Condensate Pump Trip. Reordered events so that this is now Event 2 and RCS Pressure Channel failure is now Event 5. Added a new Event 4 - High Coolant Activity (Tech Spec).
ii. What EOP is entered?
RESOLUTION: DB-OP-02000, RPS, SFAS, SFRCS Trip, OR SG Tube Rupture due to loss of both Auxiliary Feedwater Pumps and failure to meet shutdown criteria (two stuck fully withdrawn control rods).
- b. Scenario 2
- i. Scenario 1 Event 2 and Scenario 2 Event 4 both involve RCS Pressure Instrument Failures. SRO in Scenario 1 will be the ATCRO in Scenario 2.
RESOLUTION: Replaced RCS Pressure instrument failure in Scenario 2 with Pressurizer Temperature element failure.
- c. Scenario 3
- i. Is response to Event 8 significantly different from Scenario 1 Event 7 Response? SRO(I) 4 and 5 will apparently see both Scenarios as SRO.
RESOLUTION: Diagnosis is different however responses are similar.
UPDATE: Scenario 1 was designated the SPARE Scenario after validation.
- d. Scenario 4
- i. Events 5 & 6 cannot be credited as separate events.
RESOLUTION: Combine events into on single MAJOR event.
