PERRY NUCLEAR POWER PLANT, UNIT NO.1 - WITHDRAWAL OF REQUESTED LICENSING ACTION RE: 10 CFR 50.55A RELIEF REQUESTS IN SUPPORT OF THE THIRD 10-YEAR IN-SERVICE INSPECTION INTERVAL, IR-009, REVISION 2 (TAC NO. ME5378)
Dear Mr. Kaminskas:
By letter dated January 24, 2011 (Agency Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML110320065), FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) submitted nine separate relief requests associate with the Perry Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 1, Inservice Inspection Program.
By letter dated January 30, 2012, FENOC requested to withdraw one of the nine relief requests from U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) review, specifically, IR-009, Revision 2. The NRC acknowledges your request to withdraw the application. NRC staff activities on the review for the subject Technical Assignment Control (TAC) number have ceased and TAC No. ME5378 has been closed.
