ENDORSEMENT OF NUCLER ENERGY INSTITUTE 11-02, CHANGE MANAGEMENT PLAN - EVALUATED FORCE-ON-FORCE EXERCISES, REVISION 0, DATED JANUARY 2012
Dear Mr. Kline:
This letter is in response to your January 5, 2012, letter requesting review and endorsement of the enclosed Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) 11-02, Change Management Plan - Evaluated Force-on-Force Exercises, Revision 0, dated January 2012. The NRC staff has reviewed and determined that NEI 11-02, Revision 0, dated January 2012, adequately addresses staff comments and recommendations.
On behalf of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions, the Office of Nuclear Security and Incident Response, endorses NEI 11-02, Revision 0, dated January 2012. This endorsement will be documented in an upcoming revision to Regulatory Guide 5.76, Physical Protection Programs at Nuclear Power Plants, section 10, response requirements, as the official endorsement mechanism for the change management process modifying it only to reflect the latest NRC-endorsed version of NEI 11-02.
