HOO Highlight - 8/25/11 - North Anna Unusual Event Due To An Aftershock Earthquake Near Mineral, Virginia A reported 4.5 magnitude aftershock earthquake occurred at approximately 0107 EDT today, epicenter approximately 5 miles south of Mineral, Virginia. Due to the seismic activity, North Anna declared an Unusual Event at 0118 EDT. North Anna is currently shut down and the plant is in a stable condition. There were not personnel injuries or damage.
