In the Order, the Board instructed the Staff to submit a report on July 2, 2010, to be updated on the first Tuesday of every other month thereafter, updating its estimates of the dates on which the final Environmental Impact Statement ("EIS") and the final Safety Evaluation Report ("SER") will be issued, and in addition, promptly to inform the Board of any other developments that could potentially impact the schedule for this proceeding.

The Staff is changing its estimate for the final supplement to NUREG-0847, Safety Evaluation Report Related to the Operation of Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, (June 1982), and now estimates June of 2012 for completion of the supplemental safety evaluation report, which will be presented to the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards.
