REQUEST FOR HEARING WITH RESPECT TO NOTICE OF OPPORTUNITY FOR HEARING REGARDING RENEWAL OF FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE FOR AN ADDITIONAL 20 YEAR PERIOD, EXELON GENERATION COMPANY, LLC, LIMERICK GENERATING STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2, DOCKET NOS. 50-352 AND 50-353 The Natural Resource Defense Council (NRDC) requested a 30-day extension from the original deadline of October 24, 2011, to November 22. 2011 (See ML11266A083). The request was granted by the Secretary on October 17, 2011 (See ML11290A233). The NRDC timely filed its petition to intervene and request for hearing via the EIE on November 22, 2011. The NRDC subsequently filed on November 30, 2011, an "Unopposed Motion for Extension of Time," to reply to any responses of the Applicant and the NRC Staff to its petition to intervene and request for hearing.
The petition to intervene and request for hearing was submitted in response to the NRC Staff Notice of Opportunity for Hearing Regarding Renewal of Facility Operating License for an Additional 20-year period, for the Exelon Generation Company, LLC, Limerick Generating Station, Docket Nos. 50-352 and 50-353. The Notice of Opportunity for Hearing was published in the Federal Register at 76 Fed. Reg. 52992-52994, August 24, 2011. The request and supporting documents are located in ADAMS and in the EHD as package ML11326A319.
This hearing request and supporting documents; and Unopposed Motion for Extension of Time are being referred to you for appropriate action in accordance with 10 C.F.R §2.346{i), This referral is being served on the E-Filing service list for the Limerick Generating Station, Units 1 and 2, Docket Nos. 50-352 and 50-353-LR as well as those on the cc; list below:
