seabrook Hi Dennis -
I am reviewing the DEIS for Seabrook - in the DEIS, NRC has determined that the continued operation of Seabrook is not likely to adversely affect any NMFS listed species. Is NRC planning on seeking NMFS concurrence with this determination? I can provide comments on the DEIS but without a request for concurrence they won't "count" as a section 7 consultation. If NRC could send a letter requesting concurrence with this determination (you can just reference the analysis done in the DEIS, I don't see the need for a separate BA) we can complete the consultation informally (and quickly) through a letter exchange. If you could let me know what to expect from NRC that would be great.
- Thanks, Julie
