REPORT 05000171/2011008
Dear Mr. Pacilio:
On October 26-27, 2011, Laurie Kauffman of this office conducted a SAFSTOR inspection at
the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station (PBAPS), Unit 1. The inspection examined activities
conducted under your license as they relate to safety and compliance with the Commission's
rules and regulations, and the conditions of your license. The inspection consisted of
observations by the inspector, interviews with personnel, and a review of procedures and
records. The enclosed inspection report documents the inspection results, which were
discussed with Garey Stathes, Plant Manager, and other members of your staff.
Based on the results of this inspection, no findings of safety significance were identified.
In accordance with 10 CFR Part 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter, its
enclosure, and your response (if any) will be available electronically for public inspection in the
NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRC's
document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web Site at
http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html(the Public Electronic Reading Room).
