Section 106 Review for US Geological Survey TRIGA Reactor in Lakewood Mr. Jackson -
The City of Lakewood concurs with the NRCs assessment that the proposed renewal of the Facility Operating License No. R-113 would have no adverse effect on historical and archeological resources in Lakewood.
We understand that the licensee has not requested any changes to the facility design or operating conditions as part of their renewal request, and the proposed action will not result in any other change to the use of facilities at the Denver Federal Center. The renewal request would allow the facility to continue operating as it has been for the past 42 years.
Therefore, the City of Lakewood has no objections to the proposed action.
