REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING A LICENSE AMENDMENT FOR SEPARATION OF BYPRODUCT MATERIAL (TAC NO. ME4117)

Sir:

By letter dated June 16, 2010, as supplemented on December 15, 2010, the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute requested an amendment to our reactor license (License R-84, Docket 50-170) to permit the separation of certain byproduct material. After further consideration, we request that the amendment application be withdrawn in its entirety.
