On December 14, 1973, we submitted proprietary report NEDE-20179 describing the Monticello Segmented Test Rod Bundle. Revisions to that report were subsequently submitted to the U S Nuclear Regulatory Commission on January 15, 1974; August 20, 1975; July 18, 1977; August 23, 1978; October 5, 1979; March 24, 1981 and June 23, 1981. Each of these submittals were provided to document the changes made to the Segmented Test Rod Bundle within the scope of the initially described program.

During our fall, 1982 refueling outage, we intend to make other similar changes. We are, therefore, submitting five copies of NEDE-20179-5P, Supplement 5, to maintain your files in a current status. The changes are being reviewed, documented and reported in accordance with 10CFR50.59.

All necessary information for establishing the proprietary nature of this information was included with the December 14, 1973 submittal; therefore, we request limited distribution of the attached documents consistent with proprietary information procedures.
