October 18, 2011 UNITED STATES OF AMERICA NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION BEFORE THE ATOMIC SAFETY AND LICENSING BOARD In the matter of Pacific Gas and Electric Company Docket Nos. 50-275-LR Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant 50-323-LR Units 1 and 2 SAN LUIS OBISPO MOTHERS FOR PEACES RESPONSE TO BOARD QUESTION At the oral argument on October 13, 2011, the members of the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board asked counsel for the parties to address the question of whether any NRC regulations, other than 10 C.F.R. § 51.53(c)(3)(iv), require license renewal applicants to supplement their environmental reports. San Luis Obispo Mothers for Peace (SLOMFP) is not aware of any other such regulations.
