Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Electronic Copy Changed Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures and 10 CFR 50.54(q) Evaluations
- Bob, Enclosed please find an "information only" CD copy of the changes recently reported to the NRC via Davis-Besse Nuclear Power (DBNPS) letter L-11-31 0, dated October 3, 2011.
Included for your information is a copy of the letter, including a summary of the four (4) procedure changes (without the attached hardcopy procedures), and the 10 CFR 50.54(q) evaluations of the changes. Also, included is the current DBNPS Emergency Plan, and all the Emergency Plan Implementing and Off Normal Occurrence Procedures. The changed documents are in their separate electronic folders so the changed documents are readily apparent.
As the Davis-Besse cover letter submitting the changes to the NRC Document Control Desk states the changes were evaluated under 10CFR50.54(q) and determined not to reduce the effectiveness of the DBNPS Emergency Plan. Therefore, they were submitted to the NRC within 3~-days after implementation.
I'm submitting to you, via "information only" CD, the Davis-Besse letter, all the procedures that were changed, in addition to the 10 CFR 50.54{q) evaluations because the information you'd need would need to sent via multiple e-mails. Also submitted (for information) are the current!
unchanged E-Plan, current!unchanged EAL Basis Document, and all the Implementing and Off Normal Occurrence Procedures (changed and unchanged) to provide a full picture of the E Plan,?nd procedures.
