MILLSTONE POWER STATION UNIT 1 RESPONSE TO REQUEST TO PARTICIPATE IN ACCESS INITIATIVE On September 19, 2011, Dominion Nuclear Connecticut, Inc. (DNC) received a letter fram the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) offering to allow away-fram-reactor (AFR) Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) licensees to participate in an initiative that would provide access to classified information. This letter is to inform you that ONe will not be participating in this initiative as there are no AFR ISFSls at Millstone Power Station Unit 1.
In addition, DNC is already participating in a similar initiative. DNC individuals have been granted NRC "l" access authorizations and DNC was granted a non-possessing facility security clearance at the SECRET-National Security Information level on July 15, 2008.
