Serial No.11-509 KPS USAR Revision 23 Page 2 of 3 The second CD-ROM included with this submittal contains three files.
These files provide the most recent revisions of the KPS Fire Protection Program documents.
These documents are the Fire Protection Program Plan (FPPP), the Fire Protection Program Analysis (FPPA), and the Appendix R Design Description (ARDD). These fire protection program documents are "incorporated by reference" into the KPS USAR.
Normally, only the changes to such documents since submittal of the last USAR would be included. However, since these documents have not been recently submitted, DEK has decided to submit a complete current revision of each document. The second CD-ROM is labeled, "Kewaunee Power Station Fire Protection Program Documents, September 2011," and contains the following files:
024 KPS FPPP Rev 10 581,632 bytes, publicly available.
025 KPS FPPA Rev 9 1,046,528 bytes, publicly available.
026 KPS ARDD Rev 8 1,454,080 bytes, publicly available.
The KPS Technical Requirements Manual (TRM) is also incorporated by reference into the KPS USAR. Changes to the TRM were included in the most recent submittal of changes to the KPS Technical Specification (TS) Bases.
TS Bases changes implemented without prior NRC approval are required by TS 5.5.12, "Technical Specifications (TS) Bases Control Program," to be submitted to the NRC on a frequency consistent with 10 CFR 50.71(e). The most recent submittal of KPS TS Bases and TRM changes was by letter dated April 11, 2011.
