- 5) SNM 960, Docket 70-754 Pursuant to the Technical Specifications requirements of References 1 and 4 this 30-day report is being provided regarding personnel changes in the Manager, Vallecitos Nuclear Center.
Specifically, License TR-1 Docket 50-70 (GETR), Technical Specification (6.6.2.2.a) requires issuance of a thirty day report for permanent changes in the facility organization involving Level 1-2 personnel while License R-33 Docket 50-73 Technical Specification (6.6.2.b) requires a written report within 30 days to the NRC following permanent changes in the facility organization involving Level 2 or Level 3 management.
Effective August 19, 2011 Mr. Louis Quintana will no longer be the acting Manager, Vallecitos Nuclear Center. Mark T. Varno will assume the Manager, VNC role in an interim capacity. Mr.
Varno assumes full responsibility and authority defined for the Manager, VNC for all aspects associated with the Reference 1 Level 1 Organization Head and Reference 4 Level 3 Manager.
We are in the process of hiring a new Site Manager and expect that individual to be in place in a few weeks.
