RE: Trip to Surry
- Rich, I just wanted to firm up the plans for the trip with you. We will likely be arriving the morning of the 1 gth to the plant, and be there for most of the day. I had previously talked to Barry Garber about NRC staff coming for a day between 1/19-1/21, and he was okay with it.
Since I have had trouble reaching him the past few days, I asked Bill Webster (also Dominion), and also accompanying us at the plant to reconfirm the date.
Could you please let me know when you have informed the residents, so that I know the communications circle is closed.
- Thanks, Richard From: Guzman, Richard Sent: Tuesday, January 11, 2011 12:36 PM To: Chang, Richard Cc: Cotton, Karen

RE: Trip to Surry Ok. I'll let Karen Cotton (NRR plant PM for Surry) notify the resident. Once you firm up the details w/the licensee, please provide us the dates/times, so that we can give the residents a more definite timeframe/plan. Who will be your primary contact on the licensee side during the trip; i.e., who will be meeting you upon your arrival and facilitating your information needs/communications?
- Thanks, Rich Rich Guzman

Trip to Surry
- Rich, As an FYI-we have been talking to plant for the past few weeks about going there on a trip. We are tentatively planning on going next week to reanalyze the ISLOCA scenario.
Could you please inform the resident inspectors? Are there other people we need to notify?
- Thanks, Richard Chang Program Manager RES/DSA/SPB 301-251-7980
