DOW CHEMICAL COMPANY-APPROVAL OF THE DOW CHEMICAL REACTOR FACILITY REQUALIFICATION PROGRAM
Dear Dr. OConnor:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has reviewed the revised Dow Chemical Reactor Facility Requalification Program that you submitted in your license renewal application dated April 1, 2009, as supplemented by letters dated November 17, 2010, May 25, and June 16, 2011. Our review concluded that the revised Requalification Plan meets the applicable requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Part 55 and are acceptable. We request that you begin to implement your approved program immediately.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room. If you have any questions, please contact me at (301) 415-0893.
