- Roger, The following was sentence appears in the July 21, 2011 call summary:
The staff questioned the applicant on why the response did not include an Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) supplement.
Entergy included the following comment on this sentence:
54.21(d) requires UFSAR supplement to include summary descriptions of AMPs. The OE process is not an AMP.
The requested change will not be made in the call summary because the comment is not accurate, the 10 CFR 54.21(d) says:
(d) An FSAR supplement. The FSAR supplement for the facility must contain a summary description of the programs and activities for managing the effects of aging and the evaluation of time-limited aging analyses for the period of extended operation determined by paragraphs (a) and (c) of this section, respectively.
The rule cited in the call summary by the NRC is not limited to AMPs.
