- 1. 1555.5 total hours expended Jan through May

FW: Re: Question on resources on Diablo review Nate & Leslie, OCA's been fielding questions regarding how/what resources are being spent on the Diablo review since PG&E's request to delay the schedule (read: why is the staff still expending ANY resources on this review).
Can you provide Jenny Weil of OCA the following information, so that she can convey or clarify to the congressional staffers the situation with our resource expenditures?
- 1. Total number of staff review hours (aggregate) from Jan-May (broken up between Safety &
Environmental); there should be an evident drop in hours.
- 2. For the hours expended in May, particularly for the environmental review, can you provide a summary of where the efforts are being expended (e.g., hydrology, SAMA, etc.)?
Please also work with Jenny directly to make sure it's the right level of information. Thanks.

Re: Question on resources on Diablo review Hope the meeting went well on Wednesday. I saw in the news clips that there were Fukushima-related questions/concerns.
Rep. Capps' staffer asked me if we could provide in writing the resources being spent on the Diablo relicensing review (dollars and/or staff resources). Her office is getting calls from constituents who don't understand why the review wouldn't be suspended immediately since the 3-D studies won't be completed until 2015. Maybe it would be beneficial to have an explanation of any work that is ongoing?
