Davis-Besse AMP Details Davis-Besse Tech Review Team, We will perform the Davis-Besse audit in two consecutive weeks during the month of February. The first week (2/14-2/18) of audits consists of the Structural/Electrical review followed by the second week (2/21-2/25) for Mechanical reviews. The hotel site during the audit will be the Fairfield Inn & Suites (419-732-2434) located in nearby Port Clinton and is approximately a 20 minute straight ride to the plant. Please note that we will begin the contractor-supported AMP audit on 2/21 which is Presidents Day, a federal holiday. Both Dave Pelton and I will be onsite with contractor staff on Monday (2/21). NRC staff are expected to begin audits on Tuesday morning (2/22).

The closest airport is in Cleveland and is approximately 45 minutes from the hotel in Port Clinton. Southwest flies direct from Baltimore-Washington International for those nearby. The hotel site during the audit will be the Fairfield Inn & Suites (419-732-2434) located in nearby Port Clinton and is approximately a 20 minute straight ride to the plant.

Also, please provide Kathy Nesser (Fleet Licensing Coordinator @ Davis-Besse) your full name and social security number so that she may begin processing your paperwork for security access during the audit. Kathys direct number is 419-321-8214 and her email is kmnesser@firstenergycorp.com.

A schedule of the breakout sessions and walkdowns will be distributed to the team once details have been finalized.

Please let me know if there are any specific documents that youd like the applicant to provide and I will arrange accordingly.
