DBNPS Information Hello, I provided our industry peer guests the following information and thought it might help you too. It's directions to DBNPS from Cleveland.
I also wanted to let you know that for the plant walkdowns, polyester is not allowed in our RP areas. We will have scrubs available; however, you may wish to bring cotton material clothing ( i.e., jeans, Dockers, cotton shirts).
From Cleveland Area:
The overall summary is you will need to find 480W.
That will take you to 80W (Ohio Turnpike).
Then State Route 2. Once on SR2, you will eventually be at DB. (NOTE - you will pass the Fairfield Inn/Holiday Inn exit on your way to the plant)
On your way to the plant, for about the last 10 miles or so, SR 2 will go down to a single lane highway. This will happen around Camp Perry National Guard Camp. Close to DB, you will see a BP gas station on the right. You will see several entrances to DB but you need the one that is PAST the railroad tracks. You'll see the administration building and you turn right. The doors are locked but Terri McDougall will be awaiting you. If necessary, call her cell phone 419-341-1952.
NRC Note: Parking has been reserved for the NRC on the north side. (when you come into the DBAB parking lot - turn left.) Visitor/handicap parking is up against the building and NRC parking is parallel with State Route 2.
Thank you,
