RE: Davis-Besse Conference call RAI B.2.22-1 Provide basis for selecting only three locations for NDT for such a large area One time NDT before PEO will not be sufficient to establish a trend before the PEO FENOC did not provide details on what and how it will inspect the annulus area. Need specific details RAI B.2.22-2 The RAI response specific actions and details. Need firm plans. Just stating that FENOC plans to access the inside surface of containment is not acceptable.

RAI B.2.22-3 How and when coating is inspected.

RAI B.2.22-4 The response not consistent with GALL recommendations. GALL report, Program XI.S1 states:

Stainless steel penetration sleeves, dissimilar metal welds, bellows, and steel components that are subject to cyclic loading but have no current licensing basis fatigue analysis are monitored for cracking.

However, LRA states that the program is consistent with GALL.
