RESPONSE TO NOTICE OF VIOLATION AND NRC INSPECTION REPORT
Dear Mr. Bannister
Thank you for your letter dated August 17, 2011, in response to our July 18, 2011, letter and
Notice of Violation (ML111881131) concerning the failure of Omaha Public Power District to
assure that the cause of a significant condition adverse to quality was determined and corrective
actions to preclude repetition of the condition for the reactor trip contactors in the reactor
protection system were taken. We have reviewed your reply and find it responsive to the
concerns raised in our Notice of Violation. We will review the implementation of your corrective
actions during a future inspection to determine that full compliance has been achieved and will
be maintained.
