OFFICE OF SECRETARY RULEMAKINGS AND ADJUDICATIONS STAFF Re: South Texas Project Units 3 & 4 Bay City Community Development Corporation (BCCDC) is committed to new job development and economic growth in Matagorda County. We support any and all assistance for the success of the nuclear power industry. Matagorda County has been a strong supporter of the nuclear industry and is dependent on the expansion of the South Texas Project Nuclear Operating Company (STPNOC) for two new units. The company will bring needed high paying jobs to our rural area.

We are working in conjunction with STPNOC to educate our young adults to fill those new positions.

Texas and the United States need more energy diversification, and nuclear power is a clean, safe, effective way to accomplish that. BCCDC requests your continued support for Nuclear Power.

STPNOC has provided safe, clean, dependable energy for over 20 years. They have been recognized as an industry leader in safety and production. 8TPNOC is committed to the safety of its employees and the communities that surround them.

Thank you for your support for nuclear energy industries in rural Texas.
