SUMMARY
- 2011 U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION (NRC) INITIAL EXAM WRITERS WORKSHOP This refers to the meeting conducted at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, Learning Center, located at 265 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30303, on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 2 - 3, 2011. The meeting's purpose was to communicate expectations and promote consistency for the initial license exam development process. An electronic version of the presentation handouts (ADAMS package accession number ML112240249) was provided to the attendees at the workshop. The list of attendees is enclosed.
As a follow-up to the presentation on licensing applications, the requirement for SRO Instruction hours is from earlier training programs when SRO applicants were trained separately from the RO applicants. In the past, the hours that the SROs were trained were required to be identified.
However, since the training programs presently do not conduct separate training classes of RO and SRO applicants, the block on NRC form 398 for SRO Instruction should be zero.
