Dear Mr. Denton:
In accordance with 10CFR 50.54(s), we hereby submit 13 copies each (10 to NRR and 3 to I & E) of the DAEC Emergency Plan, the Linn County Radiation Emergency Response Plan, the Benton County Radiation Emergency Response Plan, and the State of Iowa Emergency Plan.
The DAEC Emergency Plan was previously submitted to you on July 30, 1980.
The state and county plans were received shortly before this submittal for for warding to you to meet the requirements of 10CFR 50.54(s).
It is Iowa Electric's intent to be fully responsive to the new emergency planning requirements of 50.54. In addition to the procedures required, we will be submitting a Corporate Plan and a revision to the DAEC Emergency Plan by March 1, 1981. We have prepared preliminary changes to our Emergency Plan reflecting the comments in Mr. T. A. Ippolito's letter of November 13, 1980 but do not consider it productive to publish a change until such time as Revision 1 to NUREG 0654 has been received and reviewed for further possible impact on the Plan.
