ENDORSEMENT OF NEI 03-12, TEMPLATE FOR SECURITY PLAN, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATION PLAN, SAFEGUARDS CONTINGENCY PLAN [AND INDEPENDENT SPENT FUEL STORAGE INSTALLATION SECURITY PROGRAM] REVISION 7 DATED JULY 2011
Dear Mr. Kline:
I am responding to your letter dated July 7, 2011 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System accession number ML11193A263), in which you requested the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff to review and endorse Revision 7 of Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) 03-12, Template for the Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, Safeguards Contingency Plan, [and Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation Security Program] dated July 2011. The NRC staff has reviewed NEI 03-12 and is providing changes which are included in the enclosure to this letter. The changes address some administrative items and ensure consistency of language throughout the document and current regulatory requirements. Once NEI incorporates the enclosed changes, the NRC will review the document for endorsement.
