MINNESOTA 5540t September 19, 1979 Director of Nuclear Reactor Regulation U S Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, DC 20555 PRAIRIE ISLAND NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT Docket No. 50-282 License No. DPR-42 50-306 DPR-60 Information Required for NRC Review of Inservice Inspection and Testing Program and Requests for Relief from ASME Code Section XI Requirements Attached you will find 40 copies of Revision Number 3 to our report entitled, "ASME Code Section XI Inservice Inspection and Testing Program and Information Required for NRC Review of Requests for Relief from ASME Code Section XI Requirements."
This is a revision of our inservice inspection and testing program description and requests for relief submitted to the Commission on February 1, 1978.
The purpose of this revision is to:
(a) Change inservice inspection tables to correct errors we have discovered since the original submittal. The majority of the errors resulted from improperly categorizing integrally welded supports and restraints as non-welded.
(b) Correct minor errors on two tables in the valve testing section.
(c) Extend the existing pump and valve testing program for Unit No. 2 for the next 20-month period. No changes in the pump and valve program are being proposed.
