OPEN HOUSE TO DISCUSS NRC ACTIVITIES, NUCLEAR POWER ISSUES, AND 2010 END-OF-CYCLE PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF FERMI NUCLEAR POWER STATION
Dear Mr. Davis:
This letter is to inform you that the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will conduct a Category 3 open house from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. EDT on Monday, May 23, 2011, at the Monroe County Board of Commissioners Chambers in the County Courthouse located at 125 E. Second Street, Monroe, MI 48161. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an open public forum for the Agency to discuss NRC activities and nuclear power issues with the public.
In addition, members of the NRC will be available to discuss the assessment of Fermi Nuclear Power Station performance. Detroit Edison is encouraged to attend this meeting.
