Dear US NRC:
I am writing regarding the South Texas Projects Uni s 1 & 2 Relicensing. NRC-2010-0375 DOCKET Nos.
50-498; 50-499.
I am asking that you do not re-license these two re; ctors for an additional 20 years. Nuclear power has some benefits, but it also has some risks as demon! trated by the recent disaster in Japan. At this point in time, I feel that the U.S. should move away from iuclear and oil as primary energy sources. Let's develop more renewable options. Also, as you kno v, nuclear power supplies require a lot of water for cooling purposes. Once again, the State of Texas is _xperience drought in 98% of it's counties. Let's save the water for agricultural purposes.
Thank you for considering my request.
