Public Comment on STP relicensing Because of the troubled history of the South TX nuclear reactors, because the systems are not designed to last without major, expensive rebuilding, because the accidents (most recently in Japan) have only begun to illustrate what major effects are possible from a failed plant, I urge the denial of the relicensing of the STP. As a San Antonio resident, I value my community and know that we are committed to renewables and conservation, much better paths to the future on a sustainable planet.
