LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission One White Flint North 11545 Rockville Pike, Room OWFN 7B04 Rockville, Maryland PURPOSE: Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) will meet with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff to discuss its planned submittal of an amendment request for Diablo Canyon Power Plant, Units 1 and 2, to revise the fire protection requirements in the operating licenses. The planned revisions are intended to adopt the risk-informed, performance based alternative described in "National Fire Protection Association Standard NFPA 805," as permitted by paragraph 50.48(c) of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations.

CATEGORY 1:* The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.
