DRESDEN NUCLEAR POWER STATION - TRIENNIAL FIRE PROTECTION BASELINE INSPECTION DATES

Dear Mr. Pacilio:

On March 4, 2011, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) notified you of the results of its end-of-cycle performance review of the Dresden Nuclear Power Station, Units 2 and 3. In addition, the NRC provided an inspection plan for inspections scheduled through June 30, 2012.

As a result of discussions with Mr. B. Rybak and Mr. G. Ice of your staff and the staff of the Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant, we have determined that the dates listed for Inspection Procedure (IP) 71111.05T, Fire Protection (Triennial), were incorrect. The correct dates for this inspection are:

On-site weeks: July 25 - 29, 2011 August 8 - 12, 2011 August 29 - September 2, 2011 In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records System (PARS) component of NRC's Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS), accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
