REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ON REQUEST FOR EXEMPTION FROM CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS OF 10 CFR 73.55 FOR THE LACBWR ISFSI (TAC NO. J00402)
By letter dated February 23, 2011, Dairyland Power Cooperative submitted a response to the revised power reactor security rule and a request for exemptions from certain requirements of 10 CFR 73.55 for the La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation. Please review the proposed exemptions and provide a Safety Evaluation for the request. I understand that a copy of the request, which contains Safeguards Information, is available in the E-Safe.
