ASLBP No. 07-858-03-LR-BD01 (Indian Point Nuclear Generating Units 2 and 3) March 8, 2011 ORDER (Granting Clearwaters Motion for Extension of Time)
Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, Inc. (Clearwater) has moved for an extension of the time within which it may reply to answers by Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (Entergy) and the NRC Staff to a new and amended contention, Clearwater EC-3, submitted on February 3, 2011.1 Citing a previously unanticipated reorganization of its legal team, Clearwater requests that its deadline to reply be extended from March 14, 2011, to March 21, 2011.2 Clearwater concedes that Entergy opposes this request, but Clearwater represents that counsel for the NRC Staff, the State of New York, and Riverkeeper, Inc. do not object to Clearwaters Motion.3 Entergy has filed an Answer opposing Clearwaters Motion.4 1
Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, Inc.s Urgent Request for Extension of Time to Reply to NRC Staff and Entergys Answer to Amended Environmental Justice Contention (Mar. 4, 2011) at 1.

4 Applicants Answer to Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, Inc.s Request for Extension of Time to File Reply Related to Amended Environmental Justice Contention (Mar. 7, 2011) at 1-2.
We believe that Clearwater has demonstrated adequate justification for seeking an extension of time to file its reply, and that granting this extension of time will not materially disrupt the schedule in this proceeding. Accordingly, we hereby grant Clearwaters Motion.
It is so ORDERED.
