ME3437 and ME34387)," dated January 25, 2011 In Reference 1, Exelon Generation Company, LLC (EGC) requested an amendment to Appendix A, Technical Specifications (TS) of Facility Operating License Nos. NPF-1 1 and NPF-18 for LaSalle County Station, Units 1 and 2 (LSCS). The proposed amendment revises LSCS TS 3.1.7, "Standby Liquid Control (SLC) System," to extend the completion time (CT) for Condition B (i.e., "Two SLC subsystems inoperable.") from eight hours to 72 hours8.333333e-4 days <br />0.02 hours <br />1.190476e-4 weeks <br />2.7396e-5 months <br />.
In Reference 2, the NRC forwarded requests for additional information (RAIs) concerning the Reference 1 license amendment request. The NRC requested a response by February 22, 2011. EGC is not able to provide the requested information within the requested timeframe. As such, EGC is hereby withdrawing its request for NRC review and approval of Reference 1.
