DAVIS-BESSE NUCLEAR POWER STATION, UNIT 1 - CORRECTION LETTER FOR LICENSE AMENDMENT NO. 282 REGARDING REQUEST TO INCORPORATE THE USE OF ALTERNATIVE METHODOLOGIES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF REACTOR PRESSURE VESSEL PRESSURE TEMPERATURE LIMIT CURVES (TAC NO. ME1127)

Dear Mr. Allen:

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), by letter dated January 28, 2011, issued Amendment No. 282 to Facility Operating License NPF-3 for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1. The amendment consisted of changes to the Technical Specifications (TSs) in response to your application dated April 15, 2009 (Agencywide Documents and Access Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML091130228), as supplemented by letters dated December 18, 2009 (ADAMS Accession No. ML093570103), October 8, 2010 (ADAMS Accession No. ML102861221), and March 7,2011 (ADAMS Accession No. ML110690027).

TS page 5.6-3a was inadvertently missing from Amendment No. 282 sent by letter dated January 28, 2011. Enclosed is TS page 5.6-3a.

Reporting Requirements 5.6 5.6 Reporting Requirements 5.6.5 Post Accident Monitoring Report When a report is required by Condition B or F of LCD 3.3.17, "Post Accident Monitoring (PAM) Instrumentation," a report shall be submitted within the following 14 days. The report shall outline the preplanned alternate method of monitoring, the cause of the inoperability, and the plans and schedule for restoring the instrumentation channels of the Function to OPERABLE status.
