In your e-mail dated January 29, 2011, addressed to the Executive Director for Operations has been referred to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR), Section 2.206.

You requested an emergency shutdown of Vermont Yankee because the radiological and evacuation emergency procedures and plans were secretly inoperable or impaired between December 29, 2010, and January 11, 2011.

By your e-mail dated January 31, 2011, Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML110320288, you requested that the NRC withdraw your petition from review because you have concluded that the petition has no bases. Therefore, the NRC will take no further action on your submission.
