Indian Point: NRC Facilitating a Conference Call Regarding Recent Groundwater Sampling Results Good morning, In the interest of keeping interested external parties informed in a timely manner, the NRC is facilitating a conference call (today @ 2 p.m.) for Entergy to provide details regarding a preliminary test result showing very low levels (0.473 pCi/liter) of Strontium 90 (Sr-90) in a water sample taken at the LaFarge well just offsite the Indian Point property. Entergy believes this sample result does not reflect any increase in radioactivity at this sample location, but rather is reflective of the more sensitive analysis procedure. Additional information will be provided on the call.
