Letter from TVA to NRC, 'Response to NRC Regulatory Issue Summary 2010-08, Preparation and Scheduling of Operator Licensing Examinations," dated August 5, 2010 Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC's) Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS) 2010-08 (Reference 1) requested specific information regarding the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant projected operator licensing examination schedules and the estimated number of applicants. The Enclosure to this letter addresses NRC's request and provides a revised estimate (from that previously provided in Reference 2) of the examination requirements for Sequoyah Nuclear Plant on NRC Form 536, "Operator Licensing Examination Data." The revised estimate consists of an initial operator license examination proposed for May 13, 2013. In addition, a generic fundamentals examination is proposed for 15 candidates in December 2011.
