Projected Schedule for Completion of the Safety and Environmental Evaluations
Dear Administrative Judges:
Pursuant to the Boards Order of August 5, 2010 (Scheduling Initial Scheduling Conference),
this letter informs the Board of the NRC Staffs current milestone schedule for the Diablo Canyon Units 1 and 2 license renewal safety evaluation and environmental review. Attached at please find the current projected milestone schedule. Additionally, the draft SEIS and final SEIS activities are still subject to change and dependent on the Commissions waiver decision or the Commission decision on any pending appeals regarding the environmental contentions. Accordingly, the Staff will update the schedule and inform the parties as necessary.
