Indian point status As of 10 pm, licensee expects to back out of alert in next hour. Our SRI is walking down plant and expects to be complete in another hour or so. The only interesting items thus far:"',,,
that oil/water was on the floor of turbine bldg at same level as the transformer, which may indicate some penetration leakage and a tap on the 13..8 KV aux transformer is stuck-declared inoperable but available.
Plant is going to cold SD.
We plan to update on status at the 8 am OEDO morning call. We will reach out to Gene Dacus of OCA tomorrow so that they can update congressional staffs.
- Fyi, VY shutdown due to leak (60 drops/min) on common FW dschg line. This is getting press play as of course, the IP event.
Note that NY state activated its EOC.
