EPU and RPS/ESFAS Setpoint Changes
- Safety analyses have been performed in support of EPU Analytical limits for RPS and ESFAS trip functions are not changed by EPU
EPU and RPS/ESFAS Setpoint Changes (cont.)
- No changes to Technical Specifications for RPS or ESFAS Setpoints are required with EPU Implementation
RPS/ESFAS Setpoint Calculation Update
- OPPD has initiated updates to all of the Technical Specification RPS/ESFAS Calculations to address TSTF-493 requirements
- TSTF-493 definitions and methods for As-Found and As-left Tolerances will be incorporated into setpoint calculation methodology
- A plant specific transmitter drift analysis is being developed to ensure currently used drift terms are bounding
Surveillance Procedure Updates
- Surveillance procedure revisions related to TSTF-493 will be incorporated after calculations are finalized
- Preliminary review of surveillance test tolerances indicates that current tolerances are generally adequate and that few changes will be needed
